Target Audience
Tidymalism was founded in 2021 by a language professional from the field of localisation and translation, who had become increasingly interested in a simpler way of living with less stuff. Content is high-grade yet simply written, original and anecdotal, and professionally edited.
Topics covered on Tidymalism revolve around finding a healthier balance between consumer-fueled maximalism and minimalism. Decluttering, home organisation, and intentional living are focal points. Readers also value the cleaning guides and financial tips on this site.
Most notably perhaps is the unique perspective found on Tidymalism. In contrast to many organising and tidying blogs, readers find frequent nods to single-person households here. The site therefore attracts a substantial solo demographic looking for hacks and tips to better juggle everything in life on their own. From budgeting and maintaining a condo to dealing with tiny closets, keeping up with cleaning while working full-time, or figuring out what the heck to cook for one: we try to provide value to this rapidly growing demographic regardless of age.
Readership is roughly two-thirds female, one-third male, and spans a wonderfully broad range of ages from gen-Z and millennials to gen-X and baby-boomers.
A major proportion of readers come from the US, followed by the UK, Canada, Australia, Philippines, India, New Zealand and Ireland.
